Lilian Pearce is a lecturer in environmental humanities at La Trobe University and research fellow at the University of Tasmania in Australia. She received her PhD in environmental history from the Australian National University, and is the 2022 recipient of the Australian Academy of Science’s Moran Award for History of Science Research.
