Giulio Boccaletti is an author, entrepreneur and senior executive with experience in both the private and not-for-profit sectors. A climate scientist by training, he received his PhD from Princeton University. He has been research scientist at MIT, partner of McKinsey & Company, and chief strategy officer and global water ambassador of The Nature Conservancy. He is co-founder of the tech startup Chloris Geospatial, and an honorary research associate at the Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment at the University of Oxford, where he pursues research on a broad set of issues, from the economics of sustainability to the role of history in decision-making. He is the author of Water: A Biography (2021). He lives in London.
