Faith Lawrence is a radio producer and poet. Her first poetry pamphlet is ‘Sleeping Through’ (Smith | Doorstop) and her work has been published in various magazines including ‘Poetry Review’. For her Creative Writing PhD at the University of St Andrews, she asked why contemporary poets have become fascinated by the idea of the poet as a ‘listener’, as well as exploring the influence of Rainer Maria Rilke. She is interested in how writers and artists tell ecological stories, and lives in Manchester, UK.
