Derek Turner

Derek Turner teaches philosophy at Connecticut College, in New London, Connecticut, where he is also associate director of the Goodwin-Niering Center for the Environment. He is a founding editor and contributor to Extinct, the philosophy of palaeontology blog. He is the author of Making Prehistory: Historical Science and the Scientific Realism Debate (2007) and Paleontology: A Philosophical Introduction (2011)
