Andy Clark is professor of cognitive philosophy at the University of Sussex and a member of the Horizon 2020 European Union ERC project XSCAPE. His books include Being There: Putting Brain, Body And World Together Again (1997), Supersizing the Mind (2008), Mindware (2nd ed, 2014) and Surfing Uncertainty: Prediction, Action, and the Embodied Mind (2016).
